HostelLink - a complete hostel and PG marketplace in one Laravel script

HostelLink lets you launch your own hostel, PG and co-living marketplace: tenants search with filters and a live map, pick the exact room and bed and pay a token online; owners run their hostels from a panel with a bed board, rent collection, enquiries, complaints, mess menu and expenses; and you run everything from a super admin with listing approval, subscription plans, payments, a drag-and-drop CMS page builder, languages and currencies. Built on Laravel 13 (PHP 8.3+) with a browser installer - the vendor folder is included.

Hero slider with quick search, trust badges, cities, featured stays, sharing types, offers, FAQ and testimonials - every block is editable in the admin CMS.

Search with filters and a live map

• City, locality, type, tenant category, sharing, budget, food, AC, amenities and rating filters

Support and updates

Support covers installation, configuration and bugs in the item. Server administration and custom development are not included.

Demo note: the live demo runs in demo mode - saving is disabled for the admin and the demo data resets every 3 hours.

• No Composer, Node.js or SSH needed - all libraries are included

Install

1. Create an empty MySQL database and user in your hosting panel (or use SQLite) and select PHP 8.3 or newer.
2. Upload the contents of the hostellink folder to your domain folder (e.g. public_html, or a sub-folder) and extract it.
3. Open your-domain.com/install: the web installer checks the server, creates the tables and your admin account (demo content optional). The last stage runs in small steps with a progress bar.
4. Log in at your admin address (default /admin, changeable later) and set your logo, colours, fonts, e-mail (SMTP), payment gateways, OTP / social login and currencies in Settings.
5. Add the cron job * * * * * php /path/to/artisan schedule:run for rent invoices and reminders.

Updates

1. Upload the new files over the old ones (keep .env, storage and public/uploads), then open Admin › System Update and run the one-click update - your data is kept.
